The theme this week is Disney Friends. I have met many friends through Disney. Some of them live at Disney and others do not. But my favorite ‘friend’ is ……
Donald Duck!!!
Meeting Donald Duck – A great resource for finding characters is Kenny the Pirate Blog, he tracks all the character meets around Walt Disney World
- Donald is a standard character that can be found in each of the parks at designated areas:
- Magic Kingdom – Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Fantasyland’s Storybook Circus (Donald is dressed as a snake charmer)
- Epcot – Mexico Pavilion in the World Showcase (Donald is dressed in Mexican attire)
- Animal Kingdom – Camp Minnie Mickey (Donald is in a Park Ranger attire)
- Hollywood Studios – Sorcerer’s Hat (Donald is dressed in 1920’s Hollywood attire)
- He can also be found at specific character dining experiences
- Animal Kingdom – Tusker House Breakfast and Lunch (Donald is dressed for Safari)
- Beach Club Resort – Cape May Breakfast (Donald is dressed for a day at the beach)
- Contemporary Resort – Chef Mickey’s for all meals (Donald is dressed as a chef)
- Donald can also be found in different outfits for special occasions at certain times of the year and at hard ticket events
- Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (Donald is dressed up as a pumpkin)
- Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (Donald is dressed in outdoors clothes for selling Christmas Trees)
