Disney Scrapbooking rule # 1..
YOU MUST HAVE MICKEY HEADS!!!
It is true. You can use any paper you have but if you add a Mickey Head to the page it magically becomes a Disney page. So today I am going to walk through making a Mickey Head tag in Photoshop Elements. Most other programs have the same functionality so keep an eye out for highlighted words you can use to search on in your specific programs.
1. Create a 2.5″ circle in a solid color. Photoshop Elements users can use the Ellipse Tool and then under options you can choose the dimensions.
5. Use a shape cutter to create a .1″ hole in the top of Mickey’s head (sounds so cruel but we need a place for the string). You could also make the hole in the ear if you want a tilted tag. Photoshop Elements users can use the Elliptical Marque Tool to crate the hole. Make sure to select Fixed Size under Mode and set to .1″. One you have the ellipse in place simply hit Delete to make the hole.
6. Now fill, overlay, or mask(depends on the program) with paper of your choice.
7. Add an eyelet and string and you have created a tag. CLICK HERE to download the eyelet and string.
Oh my gosh – this is SO cool!
And it really is not that hard!
