Hi there, I’m Shannon from Scotty Girl Design and today I’m sharing my top 5 favorite things to eat and ride at the Disneyland Resort.
Especially for those of you who have only had the chance to visit Walt Disney World, I hope this post will be helpful to you when you make your first visit to Disneyland. For those of you who visit Disneyland often, I’m sure you’ll recognize some of these favorites and maybe even find out something new.
Well, let’s get started!
Of course there are popular treats we all know about that are available on both coasts like Dole whips and churros. But I won’t be talking about those today. Instead, I’m highlighting 5 eats that you can only find at the Disneyland Resort (to the best of my knowledge).
1: Fried Green Tomato Sandwich – Hungry Bear Restaurant, Disneyland
If you like fried green tomatoes, you will love this sandwich. If you’re like me and you aren’t the biggest fan of tomatoes, you will still LOVE this sandwich! The havarti and a spicy remoulade is really makes this sandwich sing.
2: Carthay Circle Fried Biscuits – Carthay Circle Theater, California Adventure
It’s the signature appetizer for a reason: a fried biscuit filled with bacon, jalapeno and cheese and served with apricot honey butter. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.
My husband and I always plan on one nice sit-down meal while vacationing at the resort and usually that means lunch at Carthay just so I can have these biscuits.
Just make sure they bring them to you table piping hot – they lose their awesomeness once they go cold.

I look forward to tomato season… partially so I’ll have access to green tomatoes. Love em, especially in sandwiches
Those biscuits sound absolutely delicious! That’s the one I’m hitting up first!
I’d totally get some hand dipped ice cream bars if I were there! Yummy!
Oh cool. I am adding this to my all things Disney ideas for my trip in the fall
Oh, I love the Tiki Bar – these all look good and I look forward to trying them. Personally, I love the french onion soup from The Blue Bayou 🙂
Great recommendations! I love the Apple & Cheddar Salad at Village Haus, Disneyland. It’s so yummy.
What a great list! I’ve yet to get out to Disneyland, but that salad sounds great. I’m going to check out your recipe. 🙂
Oh my goodness! I think I need to visit Clarabelle’s right now! That ice cream bar looks amazing!
