Crystal Palace – June 2011

We start every trip with a visit to Crystal Palace for Breakfast with Pooh and Friends.

  • Crystal Palace is located in the Magic Kingdom at the end of Main Street
  • The restaurant is reminisscent of a turn of the century solarium with a giant topiary of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet greeting you at the front door.
  • Breakfast is a buffet of traditional favorites such as omelets, cereals, freshly baked pastries, fresh fruit, breakfast pizza and cheddar cheese potatoes.  But if you want to induldge let me recommend the breakfast lasagna.  It is everything you should not have in one dish!! (pancakes, custard, whip cream, straw berries, fruit, etc.)
  • The lunch and dinner buffet abounds with American favorites like carved flank steak for lunch and sirloin for dinner, rotisserie chicken and Atlantic salmon, along with dishes that have a delicious hint of curry, cinnamon, mango and papaya. Desserts tempt you with a variety of sweet delights.
  • Every so often the music begins and children young and old are invited to join in the Friendship Day Parade led around the restaurant by Winnie the Pooh with Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet joining in.
  • You can get reservations before the park opens to the public.  This is a great way to be in the park for opening and you can get some great shots of the castle without all the crowds.
  • Credit card garuntee is required for this restaurant and since it is very popular advanced reservations are recommended.
