The theme this week is Disney Villains. Do you think a Villain or an innocent islander was responsible for the carving in the Magic Kingdom Adventureland? Are they meant to warn or welcome?
Magic Kingdom Adventureland
- Themed land to resemble the remote jungles of Asia, Africa, South America, and the South Pacific
- Inspired by the 1950′s movies centered around exotic untamed lands
- It also capitalized on the post-war tiki craze as can be seen by the many totem poles and tribal masks
- The vegetation was chosen to resemble that of a jungle and surround the guest
- 1930s big band music creates an explorer on an adventure feel

They welcome friends…warn off enemies! lol Awesome pics! 🙂
Well they aren't too scary! And they're kinda fun to stand in front of on a hot day!
Haha they could be pretty scary for the little ones…especially at night!
