On our last trip we attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on the first night it was offered. I had been before by not Joe or little man so this was an adventure. Other than being able to ride all the rides in Fantasyland with no lines, our favorite thing was the dance parties.
The first one we went to was Woody’s Hootin’ Holiday Open House.
-
This party is located in the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland. And of course it is hosted by Woody.
-
The great part about the party is little kids get to hang out with the Charachters. I apologize for the photos, I did not use a flash so they are blurry but I sort of like the effect.
- The charachters make the rounds just like at a real party and to try to engage everyone. Little man enjoyed time with Woody the most.
We actually spent the most time with Bullseye. He kept coming up to us and talking to little man. My favorite photo is the one below of Joe giving Bullseye a high five.
And of course this is a dance party so there was dancing. I am not hip so I can’t tell you the song but when it came on everyone (including the characters) went out and did the dance.
We actually did not get a chance to meet Jessie. Let’s just say she was the bell of the ball. She was always surrounded by little girls and was quite the dancer. I did not realize how good of a dancer Jessie was (maybe it comes from dancing with Buzz). Those little girls were in heaven having her attention.
Overall this was my favorite activity we did at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. It is definitely toddler friendly and really does have you smiling the entire time.
Thank you for joining me today.

SO CUTE! If we ever went to this, I would never be able to get my kids out! 🙂 They would spend the entire party with “their friends!” Great layouts!
Lol! I was the one that wouldn't leave!
I can see that I would probably be the same way! 🙂
oh my, how fun…such great photos too…hope you have a super fun weekend!

What a great post, Mary! Thank you for sharing! Is this part of the ticket for the Very Merry Christmas party, or was this extra? Did you have to make reservations, or is it first come, first served, or do you come and go as you please? Thanks for writing, have a great week!
