Virtual Tour of Disney’s Boardwalk Resort Belle Vue Lounge
Looking for a bit of peace and quiet while at Walt Disney World?
There are quite a few nooks and crannies to sit back and relax in but one of the most overlooked is the Bell Vue Lounge at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn.
Located right off the lobby (past the penny arcade games) you will find yourself coming upon this unassuming 1930’s style sitting room. Many people walk right past it and head for the elevators.
Don’t be one of those people. Take the turn and enjoy this little haven of peace amongst all the chaos.
Quaint Vintage Ambiance
Once you enter the Bell Vue Lounge stop and take a listen. The lounge has 1930’s era radio shows playing all day long. You will also notice many vintage radios lining the book cases.
Take the time to roam the room and explore the book cases, in addition to vintage radios you will find classic books and 1930’s era board games.
Even the tables have board games upon them. And if you ask a Cast Member there are board games for your use as you spend time in the lounge.
Relaxing Surroundings
If you just want to unwind this is the place to do it. There are plenty of comfy chairs and couches to sink into.
This is also a good place to bring smaller children if your room is not ready and you want them to settle down for a bit.
If the weather is nice there is also a beautiful veranda to kick back on with a good book.
Morning and Evening Options
The Bell Vue Lounge is open for a light continental breakfast from 6:30 to 11:00 am every morning. They offer pastries, fruit, cereal and coffee.
I am not opposed to grab a coffee here in the morning and grab a seat and enjoy the silence for a bit before heading back to the room to get the kids ready for the day.
In the evening it does operate as a traditional lounge from 5 pm to midnight. Come unwind and enjoy a cocktail in a family friendly environment.
This will be just stay between friends. (wink wink)
Do you have a favorite spot in Disney where you can just get away from it all?

I love relaxing at the Belle Vue. I was at the Boardwalk for a conference last year but I wasn’t staying on property. On our break before dinner I went down and relaxed in the quiet of the Belle Vue for a while.
Last time we were at Disney this was under construction. Can’t wait to see it in person!
I’ve done some construction repairs on some very old houses and the structure is what impresses me the most. They really spared no expense when they built the place!
I don’t think we found this the last time we were at Disney World!! This looks like a great place to hang out and relax for a while!
I honestly didn’t even know this place existed! But, I love the sounds of it, I’ll have to check it out the next time we go. Hopefully that’s sooner rather than later!
