Disney Cruise Alaska Adventure Part 1

Disney Cruise Alaskan Adventure - Part 1 Custom Album Cover

Hi everyone!

Sharon here with the first of a series of posts on my recent ALASKAN CRUISE aboard the Disney Wonder.  My husband and I selected this trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we sailed in May of 2012.    Naturally, I will be sharing my SCRAPBOOK PAGES with you that I created for a special album so that I can relive each and every moment of this trip because it was… indeed…FABULOUS!

Creating the Album Cover

Today I will just begin with the actual album cover. I created this custom design for my album cover in Storybook Creator 4.0 software by Creative Memories.  It was created just like a regular 12 x 12 scrapbook page and sent to the company as a .jpeg image to then become the actual cover of the album!

I was so excited when it arrived in the mail & it inspired me to get creative and fill it up with pages.  To date, I have over 40 pages completed so STAY TUNED every Tuesday because I am so excited to share with you not only the best vacation I have ever taken but a really great Disney adventure!

I shot over 1500 images over the course of 10 days and my husband shot an additional 500 images. Alaska is a photographer’s dream.

As you can see from my cover design I knew I wanted to keep the color palette as neutral as possible in my album and utilize a very clean design so that the photography could be the central focus of my album.

It is my hope that as you join me on Tuesdays that you will be inspired to scrap your own Disney travels in some new & unique ways.

Happy Scrapping!
