The theme this week is Disney Letter “B”. I stretched with this one but had to share these great vintage parade shots from 1972. Check out how few people are along the route! So enjoy my “Back in Time”…
Thanks to Deb at Focused on the Magic for hosting the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop! Don’t forget to hop and visit the other blogs. Thank you for stopping by!
What great shots! I love how Donald looked back then.I miss seeing the Big Bad Wolf and the crowds are nothing! Thanks for sharing and for joining in on the blog hop fun today!
Awesome! Love these shots of the characters, some of them were a bit scary 🙂
I love going back in time with Disney photos. So interesting to see how the characters have changed over the years.
Wow! You can actually see sidewalk between people! Haha! These are really wonderful vintage photos. Thanks for sharing!
I remember being very young and in my stroller watching the parade. We were parked right next to a trash can – and I vividly remember the Big Bad Wolf coming over the trash can and scaring me! And it really wasn't til last month when I finally went through One Man's Dream that I understood WHY the Three little pigs and the Big Bad wolf were part of Disney!!
Lucky you! I love these old photos. What treasures. :o)
Such great photo memories! I love seeing how the characters have changed – my first trip to Disney World wasn't until 1997 so I've never seen them like this before. Wouldn't it be nice to see a parade in a crowd like that?
Wow, Donald looks so old school in the first picture. As for the crowds, you have to admit that today's parades are a little more interesting to watch than the old ones.
